A Suzuki dealer since 1982, Bill Smith Motors in Bangor, Gwynedd, sits a stones throw away from the North Wales coast, and boasts a biker’s playground on its doorstep;  the stunning Snowdonia National Park, which features some of the best biking roads in the British Isles and some fantastic scenery.

They lay claim to a wealth of experience, with dealer principle Andy Storey starting out in the trade in 1979 as an apprentice mechanic. A year later and he moved to Bill Smith Motors, at the time, City Cycles, where he has been ever since, eventually taking over the business in 1986.

In 1990, the small industry unit the business operated from, now under the banner  Gwynedd Motorcycles, was extended into the current showroom, almost doubling floor space. The final name change came a year later, and after a collaboration with veteran motorcycle dealer Bill Smith from Chester, they became Bill Smith Motors (Gwynedd).

As well as a great range of new and used models, they also boast a well stocked clothing and helmet department, with many of the top brands, and a fully equipped modern workshop, for any servicing and repair needs.

Each year they run a fantastic charity day, with demo rides, a bouncy castle, and hot food, as well as a CBT and Direct Access instructor on hand. Last year they raised £500 for the Welsh Air Ambulance.

They were presented with a 25 Year Service Award in 2007.
